According to Cambridge dictionary, " Fear is an unpleasant emotion or thought that you have when you are frightened or worried by something dangerous, painful, or bad that is happening or might happen". Fear is a feeling that something bad might happen in the present or future and it can be accident, death of loved ones and others .It is a traumatic feeling that affects the emotional, psychological and mental health of an individual. Fear is one of the seven universal emotions experienced by everyone around the world and this makes us human. It has a strong effect on your mind and body. There are so many things that makes us to be fearful. The universal trigger for fear is the threat of harm; real or imagined. Phobia is under the category of fear. A phobia is an irrational fear of something that is unlikely to cause harm. Phobia cannot be termed the same thing as fear.
